​WHO ARE WE?

Sítio Semente is one of the largest references in Syntropic Agroforestry Systems in the world, located in Brasília - DF. Family-based, Sítio Semente has been producing since 2005 in originally degraded areas.

There are over 19 years of experience in training and training in syntropic agroforestry, benefiting more than 21,370 students in face-to-face and online courses in Latin America and Africa.

 

Our school has already offered 500 on-site courses, training around 15,000 students in person and 4,000 online in Brazil. The training expanded to around 100 sites in different regions of the country, benefiting 1,080 students.

 

In Latin America, more than 1,000 students were trained in countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Colombia and Venezuela, while 280 students participated in courses in Africa (Mozambique, Kenya and Malawi). In total, more than 21,370 students were trained. Sítio Semente also achieved significant environmental results, such as the regeneration of soil and springs, and cultivated more than 2 million plants in 47 hectares of syntropic agroforests.

 

Furthermore, it developed technologies adapted to the agroforestry context, such as distillers and drying equipment for small farmers.
