NETHERLANDS

The flora around us is a mirror of our own process of healing and regeneration. This gathering is not just about the use of plants, but about understanding how life, the land, and health are interconnected in a cycle of constant renewal. Here, ancestral practices meet the needs of the present, creating a more balanced future for all.

What will we learn in this Course?

In Wassenaar, Netherlands, this course immerses participants in the principles of syntropic agriculture with a special focus on herbalism, aromatics, and medicinal plants within agroforestry systems. We will explore the regenerative potential of these systems, emphasizing seasonal management, plant consortia, and the art of crafting medicinal tea blends.

De BosBoerderij develops and manages syntropic farms in collaboration with landowners and farmers, with the mission of restoring degraded land in the Netherlands. We bring people together to regenerate local ecosystems through hands-on, meaningful farm work.

The course is held at the regenerative farm  WIJdehorst in Wassenaar. On this plot of Land van Ons, De BosBoerderij, together with the entrepreneurs of WIJdehorst, is developing a 0.4ha syntropic food forest with focus on fruits, berries, herbs and nuts.
